For 34 years The Hanalei Gourmet has been a cornerstone of Kaua’i’s North Shore dining community. Inspired by the fact that they were missing a true bar and grill style restaurant in their own backyard the owners opened the restaurant in 1989 and have been feeding locals and tourists alike ever since. The Hanalei Gourmet’s recipe for success has been to provide both locals and tourists with a quality and unique dining experience. Nestled in the library of the picturesque old Hanalei School House, the family run atmosphere balances homemade flare with beach town energy.
