Family & Interests
Life on the Big Island is anything but boring, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. My wife, Rani, and I have called Kona home for decades, raising our two boys amid the sunshine, saltwater, and soccer fields. Rani, a third-generation Big Islander, is an elementary school teacher here in Kona, wholeheartedly dedicated to her students and our community.
While we were once regulars in Hawaii’s running, triathlon, and cycling scenes, these days our biggest endurance test is keeping up with our boys and their growing passion for soccer. From afternoon practices to weekend tournaments, you’ll usually find us on the sidelines, cheering them on with pride.
Hawaii is more than a place to live; it’s a way of life. The aloha spirit, tight-knit communities, rich cultural traditions, and diverse climate make the Big Island truly unique. It’s why we’re proud to call it home, and why we feel so fortunate to help others do the same.

Supporting the Keiki
As a Kona elementary school teacher, my wife (Rani) sees students' challenges firsthand. Together, we regularly support local students and classrooms by donating supplies and quietly helping fill the gaps.
A Passion for Paws
At NextHome Paradise Realty, one area of support we’re especially proud of is our ongoing partnership with the Hawai‘i Island Humane Society, where we help clean facilities and support local animal welfare efforts.
Youth Soccer Support
I'm a volunteer assistant soccer coach while also serving as President of City SC Hawaii, Big Island’s premier youth soccer club and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Kona.
Local Sport Events
Since 2005, my wife and I have organized the Jingle Bell Beach Run, a beloved holiday 5K in Kona supporting local charities. The event also features a fun "Keiki Dash" and a much-anticipated costume contest.
